Tree Tops, Liuwa and Busanga Plains, Western Zambia

Period: November

This tour has especially been designed to showcase the inculcation of nature conservation skills in young people especially scholars.

We start by visiting Treetops Conservation School camp in the northern Kafue National Park of Zambia where we team up with a special team of conservationists who shall over the next couple of nights give special talks and practical assignments to the scholars.

The Treetop Society offers education in natural resources at their community campsite for school camps. The camp educates children of Zambia to ensure that the National Parks and their wildlife is an important feature of the future.

Whilst here we also visit the Busanga plains in the northern frontier of the Kafue National Park where we witness unique animal species that thrive in one of Zambia’s mostly secluded or remote areas.

And finally, for the first time ever by a school we visit The Liuwa Plains National Park in Kalabo district of western province of Zambia to witness the second largest wildebeest migration in the world.

Throughout the trip we are subjected to numerous Game Viewing, Game Drives including in the night, Hiking Trails,

Guided Walks, Swimming, Bird Watching, Stargazing, and Photography.

Like in the trip to the Barotse Plains in Mongu earlier and with time allowing we also visit The Hook Bridge.
